PCCS 9th Annual Conference: New Frontiers in Cardiovascular Care
Taking place virtually on 24–25 September 2026, the PCCS 9th Annual Conference, New Frontiers in Cardiovascular Care, will provide two days of practical education, expert discussion and the latest developments in cardiovascular disease prevention and management. The fully virtual format means healthcare professionals can join from anywhere, making it easier than ever to access high-quality learning and connect with colleagues from across the four nations.
Building on the success of last year's conference, the event promises the same high-quality educational experience that delegates have come to expect from PCCS.
This year's agenda focuses on the future of cardiovascular care, exploring innovations that are already beginning to reshape primary care practice. Delegates can look forward to sessions covering cardiovascular risk management, prevention strategies, emerging therapies including the growing role of GLP-1 medicines in cardiovascular health, digital innovation, and the latest approaches to improving patient outcomes. It will be the final Annual Conference led by PCCS President Prof Raj Thakkar, whose presidency has helped guide the organisation through a period of growth, educational innovation and increased engagement across the cardiovascular community. During the conference, delegates will witness the official handover of the Presidency to President Elect Beverley Bostock, creating a unique opportunity to celebrate past achievements while looking ahead to the next chapter for the PCCS.
