A New Tool for an Everyday Problem: Lower GI Care

21 May 2026
GP Clinical Theatre
Gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms are one of the most common reasons people contact primary care, accounting for up to 10% of primary care consultations. Despite this, symptoms can be non-specific and overlap with a wide range of conditions. This session explores why a new diagnostic pathway for lower GI symptoms was developed and how it can support confident decision making in general practice.
