Amelia is a diabetes specialist nurse with 30 years experience in addition to being a prescriber and advanced practitioner in Diabetes. Amelia has worked as clinical lead for black country for over 6 years and lead on 9 care process training, producing a template for type 2 in the young and streamlined foot care across 4 areas. Amelia has a passion for diabetes, renal and cvd management and prescribe for these areas. Recently Amelia has developed an interest in 'right diagnosis' specific to those with LADA and MODY. Amelia recently won silver for diabetes nurse of the year BJN!
