Chris is a GMC Senior Regional Liaison Adviser working within the GMC Outreach team. Chris has worked for the GMC for 10 years, firstly within Fitness to Practise where his role was to monitor and support doctors who had been through the investigation process and had restrictions on their license to practice. He then moved into the Education and Standards directorate where he worked as an Education Quality Assurance Programme Manager covering the North of England, a key element of this role was engaging with medical schools, postgraduate deaneries and doctors in training ensuring the standards within Promoting Excellence were being met. Prior joining the GMC he worked at OFSTED for 7 years working in a variety of regulatory roles.
