Jill Halstead-Rastrick
Dr Jill Halstead (PhD) is a podiatrist with 22 years’ experience, she was awarded a PhD in 2013 and holds a visiting research fellow title at the University of Leeds. Jill works with leading Osteoarthritis (OA) research groups across the UK, USA and Australia. Jill has worked with the NICE guideline OA committee and the International Foot and Ankle OA committee. Jill currently sits on the steering group NIHR incubator Community Rehabilitation Research Network. Dr Jill Halstead (PhD) has two main roles; an academic clinician holding an NIHR Senior Clinical Research Award to explore community solutions for foot pain. She is also the Clinical Lead for Research at Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust. In her other part time role, Jill leads a growing team of researchers working in community settings.
