Katrina Davies
Katrina has been an NHS GP for 25 years and over the last 5 years has made sustainable healthcare a passion. Katrina's Frailty and Integrated Care Masters dissertation project was undertaken with the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare (2022-23). Katrina has held numerous (mainly unpaid) climate leadership roles at local, regional and national level, including primary care net zero lead for Midlands Greener NHS, climate lead for the Midlands faculty of the Royal College of GPs, co-lead for climate at British Geriatrics Society, for the last 4 years, a director of Greener Practice CIC (not-for-profit). Katrina has shared these messages on local and national webinars, online blogs, teaching medical students at Midland medical schools, GP trainees in Midlands VTS teaching and presenting at national conferences including BMJ Leading, Greener Surgery, BAPIO and British Geriatrics Society conferences. Katrina sits on the UK Health Alliance for Climate Change's Comms and Policies group representing Greener Practice.
