Lisa Chandler
Professional Lead in Podiatry, University of Northampton
Graduating in Podiatry in 2003 and commencing her clinical career, Lisa undertook her first academic post in 2005 at the Birmingham School of Podiatry before becoming a Senior Lecturer at the University of Northampton in 2009. Lisa's teaching and clinical interests include podiatric medicine, dermatology and the at-risk limb. Lisa lectures on several undergraduate Podiatry modules and leads the Lower Limb at Risk postgraduate module, alongside supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research students. As Professional Lead for Podiatry and Deputy Head of Health Professions, Lisa has responsibility for the podiatry subject area within the University of Northampton. Lisa holds postgraduate qualifications in skin surgery, education and an MSc in the Principles of Podiatric Surgery from the University of Brighton. She is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Chartered Scientist, external examiner, and vice-chair for the Quality Assurance Committee of the Royal College of Podiatry.
