Lucy Marquis
Lucy Marquis is an Advanced Clinical Practice Dietitian with a background in diabetes and obesity specialisms. She is also Transformation Clinical Lead for Integrated Care for Community Nursing, Long Term Conditions and Therapies at Midlands Partnership University Healthcare NHS Trust.
Her clinical interests centre around the wider determinants of health, behavioural and psychologically informed practice, personalised care and weight stigma.
Her current role focusses on advocating for people as partners in care and asset-based community development approaches. Lucy works across statutory services and the Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise sector to develop and deliver new models of care that improve people’s outcomes and experiences of care by bringing services together around people and communities. Her collective leadership objectives are to address fragmentation and lack of co-ordination whilst strengthening the provision of whole person-centred, joined-up care.
Lucy is a Diabetes UK Clinical Champion and Vice Chair of the British Dietetic Association Obesity Specialist Group.
