Dr Anil Joshi is a portfolio GP on the Retainer Scheme, having previously been a GP Partner for 25 years. He is Primary Care Associate Dean for the West Midlands and Associate Dean for GP Training in Herefordshire and Worcestershire, and also works as an Appraisal Lead and Appraiser in the Midlands. He has been a GP Trainer for 24 years and has previously served as a Training Programme Director. Previous roles include CQC Clinical Inspector, Research Champion, and Honorary Lecturer at Warwick University. He describes being a GP Trainer as one of the most enjoyable and rewarding parts of his career. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and walking, has completed several 26-mile Macmillan hikes, and plans to walk the West Highland Way this year.
