Nicola Birch is a Consultant Physiotherapist at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care Trust with a specialism in Musculoskeletal (MSK) Care.

Before this Nicola was Clinical Lead at Midlands Partnership University Healthcare NHS Trust. Nicola has a passion for thinking differently about healthcare including better and easier access to services and personalised, holistic and integrated approach to care. She is not scared to do things differently. She is keen to incorporate multiple different professionals and skills into MSK care to ensure that the whole person is at the centre of their treatment rather than their muscle or joint!

Nicola is currently involved within her local system to implement and expedite GIRFT pathways into community services, improve the system approach to MSK care and to improve the role of the MSK services in supporting people back to work.
