Paul Kirby
I am Passionate about Accessibility ,Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and amplifying people’s voices. During my time at CQC, I have held a variety of positions including Registration Inspector, Quality Improvement Advisor and for six years was Chair of the Disability Equality Network. Prior to CQC, for 25 years I was a qualified teacher involved in cross-sector education, which included training in Deaf Studies, Health and Social Care, Care Certificate qualification. I was previously Care manager , managed a community team for Deaf Children and Adult Services in the South of England which covered a wide variety of complex multi-disability needs. I was award The British Empire Medal for my services to Health and Social care and my work with CQC.
